Bureau des Interventions Publiques (BIP)

The BIP, Bureau des Interventions Publiques de la HEAD, acts as an agency for the development and realisation of artworks in the public space. It centralises commissions and helps students to respond to the specifications in order to make feasible proposals based on their own work that will win support.

Accompanied by Christian Robert-Tissot, an artist who has carried out a number of public commissions, Claude-Hubert Tatot, an art historian, and Mathias Pfund, an artist, this is an opportunity to try their hand at this type of creative context.

This year the BIP is calling for collective projects for Sculpture Garden 2022 and is opening a competition for the occupation of a wall in downtown Geneva.

BIP teaching for master students takes place in two parallel formats:

  • In groups in half days; introductory seminar, sharing of critical analyses at mid-term and at the end of the exercise.
  • Individual meetings with teachers
