Laure Marville

Lab.Zone, RDVs, Practical tutorship

Would it be possible to destroy the capitalist system while living in a big house whose walls are made of very expensive perfume bottles? This is the question Laure frequently asks herself when she lines up at the supermarket. Well, coherence in daily life is a naive and overrated principle anyways. Actually, her only authentic goal is to be canonized before her death in order to become the first patron saint of clumsiness.

Using techniques such as engraving, drawing, writing and sewing, Laure's artistic practice deals with various subjects such as free access to knowledges and feminist claims. Born in 1990 in Lausanne, her work has been exhibited in many art spaces across Switzerland and Europe.

For the 2024-25 academic year Laure is co-director of the Work.Master program alongside Roxane Bovet.
