Laure Marville

Laure Marville is an artist and graduate of HEAD where she is a Scientific Deputy. In her work, she frequently uses linocut on fabric or paper, creating repetitive patterns that she assembles into compositions, at times involving text.

She is the recipient of the Irène Reymond Foundation Prize (2019), the Shizuko Yoshikawa Advancement Award for Young Women Artists, Zurich (2018), and the Pro Helvetia artist residency in Moscow (2019). She has participated in group exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad. Among her recent solo exhibitions is Ferme de la Chapelle, Geneva (2021). Alongside her work as an artist, she is active in alternative circles, notably as curator and co-director of the Zabriskie Point and Hard Hat art spaces in Geneva
