Bastien Gachet

Bastien Gachet studied decorative arts at the School of Applied Arts (Geneva, CH), and visual arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam, NL) and at Bard MFA (New York, USA). His work includes installations, videos and performances.
He has received several grants and awards, including the Act-Art grant (Act-Art Federation, Geneva, CH, 2012), the Grant for Book Illustration (City of Geneva, 2011, CH), two Grants for Creation (City of Geneva, 2012 and 2017, CH) and the Fine Arts Prize (Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, NL).
His work has been acquired by the Fonds Municipal d'Art Contemporain de la Ville de Genève as well as by the Fonds Cantonal d'Art Contemporain, and is regularly exhibited both nationally and internationally.
