intervenant
Art historian and exhibition curator, Pierre-Henri Foulon is curator of contemporary art at the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts (MCBA) in Lausanne. Before joining the institution, he worked with several organizations dedicated to contemporary creation in Paris and in the Engadin.
At the MCBA, he develops a program centered on the production of new works by contemporary artists from both the Swiss and international scenes, as well as research projects aimed at reintegrating forgotten or marginalized figures into 20th-century art history. He has notably organized exhibitions devoted to Charlie Malgat, Florence Jung, Babi Badalov, Sophie Thun, and Giulia Essyad, and has overseen several publications related to these projects. He is currently preparing the first solo exhibition dedicated to the American artist Ted Joans.
